When I changed out the stock chain and sprockets the noise level dropped dramatically.

That is my plan soon,to change it all out.I have only adjusted 3 times since then.I hoping helps mine out also.its really not that bad,I think he just use to his shaft drive Connie.

My wife and I took mine out to visit all the grave sites where our grandparents were buried for memorial day. Put about 300 miles on it. Was a great ride but we definitely need to do something about the stock seats.

We (NC & me) took a ride to the Louisiana State Police and got the "yellow" form we needed (in addition to all the other papers) to get her re-registered as a re-built NC. Then we went down to the DMV (OMV in LA.) and got all the papers in order and a new license plate. Then we rode home in the rain...again...good times..

Yes, that IS my rain suit in the plastic bag on the back- LOL

That's strange. I rotated the pic in photobucket and replaced it with the rotated one and it still came out wrong..

Seeing "Caddo Sheriff" reminds me of the story that when the parish didn't vote for Huey Long he sent the highway department in to take the gravel off the roads.

Louisiana politics is pretty much the same way now. I can't believe some of the things that go on! It's good to stay on the "right" side and have friends.

My favorite Louisiana politics joke is that a third world country bough Louisiana's old voting machines. Mary Landreau won by a landslide

It happens again and again. Same lies told to the same people that believe them and vote. Over and over and over.....

Picked my bike up from the dealer. Had dropped it off for its first 600 mile maintenance. It was at 800 miles.

I wont be dropping it off there for its next one as it cost me $182 for this one.

Took a over 150 mile round-trip ride with my buddy up to Wrightwood, CA via SR 2 (Hwy 2).

We first stopped was at a popular local motorcycle hub, Newcome's Ranch (Lat 35.3297° Log: -118.0018°).

Made a few stops along the way for a couple pics.

Made it up to Wrightwood just in time to have lunch at the Yodeler. Nice little Mountain Town (Lat: 34.3608° Lon: -117.6333°).

Met some interesting people while we were there. We were sitting with the group in the corner behind NaNCy... :)

Rode the NC to a friend's house and then spent several hours helping him brew this batch of beer (a Belgian Tripel).

Rode a 450 mile loop on the Olympic Peninsula. Met three riders in Purdy, WA. From Purdy, over the bridge (HW3) to HW 101 North. Up through Port Angeles. Wanted to see the ocean so off the 101 to 112 to Clallam Bay. Snap a pic or two. Back South to hit the 101 again. Had lunch at a burger joint in Forks. Rode down to the New Mooclips Highway that goes West towards the Ocean again. Head south on 109 all the way to Hoquiam. HW 107 to Montesano/Tumwater. I-5 North to HW16 - and on home to Gig Harbor. 463 miles from my garage to my garage. Gorgeous day. The seat slope mod has helped - but my rear end is sore.

Got out for another local ride with my wife today. Took her on a route with some slightly more challenging twisties. She did well except for one steep downhill section with two hairpin-type curves. Said she felt a little nervous on that segment. Improvement still with every ride.

Break at a local lake/marina.

Gratuitous selfie she took

One of the reasons I miss the PNW. I lived in Lacey for a few years and only had a bike. It's been a long times since I've ridden that area. Thanks for posting the pics.

Managed to get a nice afternoon of riding in Saturday.

Without trying particularly hard, I got my best MPG of 82.5 on my ~225 mile ride. Mostly two lane FM roads, kept speeds to 65 MPH or less.... I was surprised.
