So I finally received my Ermax windshield. It is an improvement over the tall OEM windshield, but I still get wind coming over the top of the windshield hitting me directly in the visor of my full face helmet. The buffeting of my helmet has been drastically reduced though. It is mainly wind noise now. I ordered the Bruudt windscreen adjuster and that should solve all my issues. I really like the look of the Ermax windshield. It fits the contours of the bike a lot better than the tall OEM windshield. I would recommend the Ermax windshield based on cost and looks, but if you are hoping that it would solve all wind noise and buffeting problems then be prepared to buy the Bruudt windscreen adjuster as well. I did use Dales nut plates.
