2021 NC750x purchased yet?

Cool, you got a manual. I have had a deposit on one since June, and my dealer says it won't come in until late October. I have been looking for deliveries of manuals for 2 months now and yours is the first I have seen. I have seen a few in stock, mostly west of Colorado ( One in Miami ).

How long did you wait for yours and were your dealer's delivery estimates accurate at all?

Congratulations and I am very jealous.
It was just sitting on the floor at the dealer. I think the DCT models are in higher demand than manuals. I went to look/sit on it last week to compare with the Versys. Decided on the NC over the weekend and went in this morning to make a deal. While I was waiting to talk to the finance guy, someone else wanted to buy it, glad I went early.

Since I did not order or put a deposit on this bike I cannot comment on the dealer's accuracy on delivery estimates. Sorry.

The dealer in Knoxville, TN claims to have a manual coming in by end of this month.

All Givi luggage racks, the 1192 series.
PLO1192MK pannier rack.
1192FZ luggage rack.
Ordered the racks from Carpimoto Italy.
We ordered the Givi E22 side cases from Tourandride.
Already owned the top case.
@mudtrack. For some reason I am not finding the rear rack 1192FZ on the Carpimoto web site.

Pardon me, you may find the Givi 1192FZ rear luggage rack for the 2021 NC750X at Motostorm, Italy. Perfect fit.
I guess actually I purchased the pannier rack from Carpimoto and the luggage rack from Motostorm. Mounts perfectly to the 1192FZ.
Considering these two purchases came from Italy, I was surprised that it was only a few weeks.

Thanks for the link to the rear rack. One lst question. Did you have to pay VAT on the items from Italy?

I was able to find the Carpimoto invoice in my records for the pannier rack.
No VAT because of export out of EU region.
Givi PLO1192MK Specific Pannier Holder for Monokey Cases for Honda NC750X 21,
120.66 Euros ($141.78 US dollars)
Shipping and Handling,
39.50 Euros ($46.41 US dollars shipping)
Total cost to me for pannier rack and shipping: $188.19 US dollars

The 1192FZ luggage rack was 81.07 Euros from Motostorm Italy, no VAT. ($95.25 US dollars)
I forgot the shipping, but similar to Carpimoto shipping.

Thanks for the info. Without VAT it is a huge savings over buying from US sites.

Also, the NC750X specific Givi luggage racks are not available from any US vendor as of yet.
Tourandride didn't expect any inventory until late October.
Just a few weeks from Italy is much faster than waiting another 2+ months.

Hi guys. I just put a deposit down on a 21 manual. I should be picking it up next week after the dealer installs the heated grips, center stand, and USB socket. I’m currently riding 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan that I bought for my first bike. I have already outgrown it and was looking to upgrade to a middleweight. I been checking the local dealers inventories daily and one finally got the 750x in stock. I went down there and sat on it and knew this was my next bike.

Just picked up a '21 manual today. The Olympia dealer had deposits on all his NC's. The Vancouver dealer has not posted any Honda's in a while.
Finally the 2 Oregon dealers, Hillsboro and Tigard, had both the DCT and manual on their site. I contacted the Tigard dealer to see if the bike was actually there.
Some one bought the DCT yesterday but I wanted the manual. I have a center, GIVI luggage rack and pannier rack on order.

I put a deposit on the Hillsboro manual. I walked out of the Tigard dealer twice already because how they treat their dealer as if it was a used car lot. The Vancouver dealer hasn’t had any Japanese bikes for a very long time.

For the Givi Top Case, keep in mind you also need an appropriate top case plate for Monolock or Monokey.
Monokey M5, M7, M8, M9 etc.
These you can order from Revzilla or Tourandride or any of your favorite domestic dealer.

Thanks for the reminder, with GIVI there is never just the rack, there is always something else.
I will use one of the Tusk adv plates so I have a nice flat surface to put stuff. I did this same set up on my CB500X and liked the results.
Being as short as I am it is too much effort getting on the bike with a top box.

Look at cancelling your NC750X DCT as a blessing. I have a new 2021 DCT version and have stalling problems when leaving a stop light. It has happened 13 time since I bought the bike 40 days ago. Now, I have a new problem, the transmission in auto standard mode gets stuck in 2nd gear and won't shift. I had to use the paddle shifter to shift to 3rd gear. There is too much to go wrong with the DCT version.

So sorry.
No problems here.
Put pressure on your dealer.
My wife's dct is great.

While there are many DCT owners with many trouble free miles, I agree with your statement that there is much to go wrong with the DCT. It has more parts that are less user serviceable when out on the road far from help. Since I like to venture to remote places, I place high priority on reliability and road side serviceability. I do like automatics (half my fleet is auto) but I think Honda over complicated the DCT, and if a failure occurs, limp home modes don't seem to be part of the design.

In the past there have been a few threads about owners replacing manual transmission clutches at less than 35,000 miles. One forum member replaced two or three as I recall before 100,000 miles. A very experienced rider he was so I discount the possibility of misuse or abuse. The chance of clutch failure is small, as is a DCT failure, but I don't see anything to fret about or keep me from riding a DCT bike anywhere. There are Africa Twin DCTs seeing long offroad miles w/o reliability problems.
