2021 NC750x purchased yet?

I'm a Honda fan and SELDOM have problems with them...2 or 4 wheel. Maybe I've been lucky. Other than the mushy spring on the NC I'm happy with it so far. I have confidence if/when they put put CC in their bikes. I've heard complaints on BMW CC too...not sure this is a complicated request...we have the technology.

interesting, the cruise in my 2010 Ridgeline works perfectly, as did the one on my FJR.
2017 Ridgeline AWD towing a 2500-3000 pound enclosed utility trailer (with motorcycle inside). Flat land, sixth gear, no headwind. Start going up a slight rise. CC does not react. Speed drops 1 to 2 mph. CC eventually reacts by opening throttle and causing downshift to fifth. Speed holds at 2 mph below set speed for a second, then CC realizes it is 2 mph below set speed, and AT ALL COSTS must immediately get back up to set speed. Downshifts to fourth and goes to WOT. Engine screams back to set speed. Upshifts and then all is well until there is another uphill grade, then the cycle repeats. I get annoyed and just shut the cruise off, because I can drive the truck more smoothly, efficiently, and steadily than the cruise control can.

Dodge Grand Caravan FWD with 6 speed and same horsepower as Ridgeline tows the same trailer with ease and it’s cruise maintains set speed with no drama.

Ha. That's how the cruise on my 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 acted. There were times I was afraid the motor was going to blow up, and the dealership told me the truck would be never even feel the motorcycle trailer back there. I sold it at a huge loss with 54,000 miles on it.

After searching for weeks I finally found 2 x 2021 manual transmission NC750Xs in the US, but they are nearly 3000 miles away in Las Vegas ( RideNow Powersports ).

I hope this is a sign that the log jam is breaking and others will start to arrive as well, but optimism is sometimes not my strong suit.

I have good news and bad news...my little spill didn't result in a broken rib and punctured lung.

It did result in 3 or maybe 4 cracked ribs, displaced collar bone, right shoulder boo boo and a sore neck requiring 9 - 12 weeks recovery and 6 weeks of no lifting over 10 lbs. with the right hand. We were just getting ready to do a mock up of how we'd pack the Pioneer for a trip to CO and a ride on the Rimrock Trail to Moab, UT, put new tires on the trailer bought a bunch of new camping stuff...timing SUCKS!!

Had nothing to do with the NC or other bike but I did learn not to try to reach 8' from a 4' ladder...done it before many times but not this time.

Unlike.

Fly to Vegas and have a nice ride home. I did that with an ST1300 years ago...not nice in March though.

I am seriously considering it, but , as always, there are challenges to overcome, like work, gear for a long ride etc... The dealer has a picture of their showroom that has a large disclaimer bill board saying sales tax needs to paid even on out of state sales, and I don't plan on paying taxes to two sates. Massachusetts is bad enough. I am hopeful more will start showing up closer to home. Mudtrack's just came it too.

You wont have to pay sales tax to 2 states....the paperwork will show MASS. what sales tax you paid in the other state and you only pay the difference what still needs to be paid....We do that all the time here in Indiana if we buy a vehicle (any vehicle) in KY, Ohio, Illinois...Ky only has a 6% sales tax, Indiana has a 7% sales tax....We pay the 6% sales tax in Indiana and then pay the 1% difference in Indiana....

I’d guess the out of state vehicle purchase process varies by state laws. When I have purchased a new motorcycle from an out of state dealer, I paid no sales tax at the time of the sale. When I take the bill of sale and certificate of origin back to my home state to register for the vehicle title, my home state collects the sales tax due at the home state’s tax rate.
