Hi, I've recently traded in my 2020 NC750X, cable operated throttle, for a new NC750X, which comes with a wire operated throttle. The latest twistgrip action is very light and on a couple of occasions I've inadvertently opened the throttle whilst using the front brake to come to a standstill, fortunately without any harm. Stupid of me I know, and I now use the rear brake right at the end to come to a standstill. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Once or twice. It's really a scary thing on a DCT where you can't pull in the clutch to disengage the power to the wheel. Give it the gas and it shoots forward. It's probably why a cramp buster type cruise was not recommended to me for a DCT equipped machine. I found it to be sound advice.

You'll get used to the light throttle.
