I finally got the Rox Risers installed. I had them on late last year but they wouldn't stay put where I wanted them so I took them off. I chewed the round bases of the risers up with various punches, a hammer and a hack saw during the winter. My son Max helped me today to put them back on, it was very nice to have a second pair of hands. Test ride tomorrow.

Did some riding today. Got out late (around 9pm). Was really great. Just came home and now it's 2:25am. I visited a friend that lives pretty secluded so it was pitch black when i rode home. Luckily i have the Osram Nightbreakers on so the light is really good. Especially the highbeam. Better then some of my old cars. Highly recommended! NIGHT BREAKER | OSRAM

Did some exploring in southeast Kansas today. Put 107 miles on her and it felt great! Can't believe how smooth she rides. Can't wait till our next ride.

I rode my NC down to one of the Honda dealers that just became a Zero electric dealer. They had a demo day today. It was a short ride, but man can those bikes haul! I honestly couldn't stop giggling when I was able to really open it up [emoji7]
If I had an extra $16-18k burning a hole in my pocket, I would very strongly consider buying one. It would be ideal for commuting and all the canyons that are close here in Salt Lake. The 0-60 time is really freaking fast! I think it's somewhere around 3.5 seconds. It even has a little frunk, I unless you opt for the larger battery.

I'm sticking with my Serenity for now[emoji3]

Yesterday another great day riding in the western NC and eastern TN mountains. Lunch in Hot Springs. The great bar-b-que place there is now a great Mexican place. LM15 in the group as well. Didn't find a straight or flat piece of road in 212 miles of riding.

LM15's is the red bike and that is him with the helmet on.

Sunrise this morning from hotel in Little Switzerland. About to head home and the first 180 miles of 320 total will still be in Mountains.

Was out riding with some friends today. We meet a really cool guy with an awesome Harley.

1250cc, 0,5-0,6 bar turbo, steering damper, double Öhlinssuspension rear. He said it has about 150hp and 150nm torque. So awesome!

Went to the British Diesel motorcycle rally on the NC. Just returned

Bit of rain. Those suitcases aren't waterproof. Bit of a disappointment.

But the rally was very nice and so was the trip :).

I'm surprised to hear the OEM boxes aren't waterproof, or at least almost waterproof. They do have a rubber seal...

Got my Anakee 3 mounted up. What a STIFF tire! Never mounted something so difficult.

Now to go scrub it in

trey

Hi
What size is that Anakee3 rear tire and what front tire do you have? I believe there is no 17" front Anakee3?

Went out to the farm and came across this along the creek. Poor guy. I carried him on out, up the hill, to the farm and let my neighbor discard him.

While putting the center stand on I decided I might as well replace the left side foot perch, stay, whatever it's called.
I guess the old one was pretty ratty looking.

Hit the refresh button today. Took beautiful Hwy 88 from Stockton out to Lake Tahoe today for some time away with the wife.

Gorgeous weather, perfect motorcycle roads and clean mountain air.

NanCyX and I attended an MSF Advanced Rider course today. There were 7 students/bikes in the class. Besides mine, one of them also happened to be an NC! Turns out the rider lived 50 miles from me, but also bought his 2012 NC from the same dealer I did.

We both showed 'em all that the NC700 is the bike of choice for doing drills out on the riding range!

Tried unsuccessfully 3 times to upload the photo. Stupid phone.

Without a photo it didn't happen, he said!

Replaced my chain/sprockets yesterday. 22,000 miles on the set and the sprockets are shot (especially the rear).
A set of JTSprockets and chain; $117 for the complete set, including tax and shipping. I used them before on my little BMW and like them.

Pictures or it didn't happen;

Old front sprocket on the bottom, new front sprocket on the top:

They do have a rubber seal but packing them a little full causing they to flex open just a little bit opens it for rain. I had a thorough 3 hour shower on my way back.
