Helped my dad replace the shocks on his Beemer, and afterwards we had to go for a test ride. (Of course) Went up Wildcat Canyon past Barona Casino and came down Hwy 67. Pretty curvy in both directions, just a quick hour long jaunt, but it's always nice to take the bike out for something other than my commute. Passed a red NC on my way back down, but I don't think they noticed (or cared) that I was on one, too.

Took the X out for a ride today and decided it was time to take of the stock windscreen and put the touring screen back on. I switched back to stock around the beginning of summer as the added airflow was a godsend in the hot & humid Japanese summer.

Now that the leaves are falling, it is time to keep the wind at bay again...

Wife's new NCX is 1 day old but the mods have started already. Removed dealer sticker from rear and warning sticker from frunk. Added a set of Grip Puppies and ordered a Puig touring windscreen.

Happy to have another bike I can work on. ;)

I'm not sure what a top ten list would look like but a seat and hand guards would most likely be there. Those and a taller screen and she is ready for some long hauls. It is fund adding farkles.

Finally got around to putting my OEM heated grips and accessory plug on. The physical part of installing the grips and wiring them was easy -- removing the bodywork and figuring out how NOT to break the damn clips and such was not as easy.

I did this yesterday. Installed the Puig Clip-On Visor to my windscreen. Only tool required was a 4MM allen wrench. Took less than 10 minutes to assembly and attach.

We expect a write-up after a couple hundred miles of riding. I didn't enjoy riding in 45 degree weather this weekend with the stock windshield by itself. Considering the Honda touring shield, but if the clip-on works, I might go with it.
Thanks,
Erik

It appears you were successful in finding that unusual screw that was left out of your shipment. I thought that it would be very difficult finding a a screw with those unusual threads.
Looks nice, I hope it works as well as it looks!

Here's some pics of recently added handguards, radiator guard and sidestand pad.

I don't think it'll come to that. The handguard bracket (rod) is what just barely touches the windshield. If it ends up causing problems I could "carve" the Puig a little! Gotta love Dremel. lol

I installed Givi 33 Ltr Trekker Cases and a Madstad windshield today, then went out for a ride to take advantage of our amazing fall weather.
