I've had the NC for 4 months now and done a fraction over 3000 miles on her.
We are due to go to Le Mans MotoGP next month and i've been weighing up if i'm to need new tyres for the trip. I am really not impressed with the lack of tread left when i have done so few miles on them. I know some haven't even got that far. The label on the swingarm suggests Scorpions but a biker friend has spoken to a man in the know and expressed his professional opinion to go for PR3's. I have used these on previous bikes and got well over 10k miles. I still have 1.5 -2.0mm left though and i still have some commuting to do. I do like to get my moneys' worth.
On a different note, i put the Honda touring screen on this week to get used to the different experience before we embark. I'm not overly impressed at the moment as i feel it is noisier from the wind. I try standing on the pegs to see if the wind noise is any different. It's a lot quieter. I'm thinking of putting the original back on. Anyone else had this effect?
