This is awesome. I might ask why are you not working for sw-motech or starting your own line for the NC700x. I really can't wait till you get the aux tank done as well!!!

That looks great. Anyone else disappointed with honda's choice of color in the middle of the chin. The gray in the middle of mine is already looking like crap with tar and god knows what else splashed on it (and it hasn't seen rain yet). I'm thinking this skid plate (powder coated black) would look sharp

These plates are marine grade aluminum, could be powder coated any color, dale

The skid plate looks phenomenal! I certainly do not NEED one, but I WANT one! There are many other accessories that I actually need first, but I would like to know what the skid plate goes for not including shipping so I know where to slide it into my long list.

First, the skid plate is beautiful. Second, what must be unbolted/removed to do an oil change? Third, and I know you haven't heard this before, what is the cost? Keep up the good work.

i am making some other cool stuff for the nc,, a have a cherokee jeep that i have built with allot of hand made sheet metal, and two winches, one in the front on and a 8000 pound in the rear. it goes out on the roads to clear them, trees, snow, and to map new places to ride. then i ride the nc and set up rides for my customers... dale

up date. my skid plate bolts on the nc700dct, but the left and right covers i am having to make are tough, this motor is really wide, and the dct oil filter and shift motor have to be completely covered to protect them, with out making the bike two feet wide. this customer bike had been dropped and really ate up the dct oil filter cover on the right side plate will have to cover that to protect it. it was dropped on the left also and bent in the Honda guard, this damage was done at very low speed, keep you updated dale

1. front of plate less then twelve inches wide, this is were you will get hung up, in ruts, or hitting things, other plates wider then that.
2. cooling holes for cat that runs very hot and was made to have air flow over it, to cool it, cooling for the head pipe, cooling holes for the motor and oil pan, to help cool the oil.
3.smooth bottom front to rear for sliding over things, rocks, ruts, other bikes???
4. skid plate covers rear shock linkage to protect it. no one else does this on there plates
5. new alt and clutch cover protection
6. plate is 3/16 aluminum , and is made out of ten separate parts and welded together to make a very tight fit around motor, and only bolts to the frame of the bike.
7.can be powder coated any color
8. will work with Honda center stand and after market mufflers,
9. bolt on with seven 8 mm bolts, comes with all hardware.
