True that on soft keys. I installed a shad seating system and now getting to gas tank can be a bit. I almost snapped the key off in the lock for the seat without trying hard. Will look to check key and possibly switch out with the other copy as I have been having issues with ignition as well. Not to your extent but knowing my luck it will happen when I am furthest from home or help. Does anyone else carry a spare key?

I got a spare made for the frunk, so far I just use the frunk for helmet storage at stops, so that key is in my wallet.

I don't post often but I sure appreciate the forum when I am in the middle of nowhere and my key won't turn in the ignition. My problem was that the key was very slightly twisted (I'm guessing from overloading the frunk a bit too much and forcing the lock) so I just un-twisted it with locking pliars and that did it. Thanks for the input
