Rode it into work for the first time in a couple weeks!!! Thought it was warmer than it was and used the open face helmet and now my chin is cold. :)

Bought a new lid on black Friday.a high vis speed and strength modular with flip down inner visor.got a heck of a sale on it.also got a Scala rider qz communication system.now I can receive calls and listen to music.

I'm seeing the NC's on terrain other than tarmac, are we saying this machine is capable of doing a little off road? Is this cute looking bike affable to the pleasant pastures of the countryside?

The NC700 can be ridden off road, but at a slower speed than the motorcycles made to be ridden off road. As long as the hee-man facture does not kick in, where you try to keep up with off road motorcycles, the NC700 will do just fine.

Went on a little ride to try out the Kenda Big Block rear tire. Love it.

I really liked the Kenda Big Block also. Wish they made one for the front. However, do not put tool tubes under the bag racks. The Kenda is a little wider than most tires, and from experience I can guarantee the Kenda will cut the tool tubes in half!

Yesterday, Sunday, I did my first charity ride. The 14 annual vets Christmas ride. It was awesome all sorts of bikes and about 6500 of them. All to bring Christmas to vets at the dorn VA hospital.

Charity rides are great rides as long as the ride is properly escorted. If the ride is escorted properly, these rides are a lot safer than some folks think. Like you, I really enjoy these rides.

Yes it is capable of going off-road. As with any vehicle you take off-road a skid plate and tire choice are important. A KTM on street tires is not good off-road. As OCR said, you aren't going to go as fast as a higher end adventure bike but you can go most of the same place just at a slower speed which with the low center of gravity and low end torque the NC actually has advantages in slow speed maneuvers.

The bridge is close to Dothan. I thought I had ridden over every bridge that near to Dothan. I will have to find that bridge next time through.

Broke 20,000 miles on the way to work today. Heres to another 20,000 problem free miles. It was tough taking the photos so a little blurry. I don't reset my clock so it is really 05:30 and pitch black outside.
