Thanks Frank. What about (+) side? I assume it will be a additional connection just like any other gadgets? For waterproofing the unit, how do you do that and what did you use to cut the hole? Where do you strategically placed the shunt?

FrankQC, It's been awhile and I am back to farkling mode. Is it correct to assume that the shunt resistor is to be installed immediately next to (-) pole of the battery BEFORE all the other connections? I have gadgets wired directly to the (-) of the battery like, FUZE BLOCK, heated jackets...

How do you like your Vario screen?

Similar to mine, I believe he has IQ-170 controller. It can be preset up to 10 levels of running light brightness. When you flick the high beam it will go 100% brightness.

TomInOregon, your setup is correct. When I took out the Madstad adapter + winshield ON it is HEAVY. I could feel it and could even guessed with the wind forcing it, these three elements (adapter + windshield + wind force) will give significant force and it is not secure. I just PM Dale for his...

Thanks for the pictures.. Looks like the stock well nut is not designed to hold up the extra weight and force caused by the wind. One could imagine that the stock screen is short and light weight. Even with the touring stock screen it came with a supporting bracket. I wonder what Madstad will...
