2021: What did you do to/with your NC700/NC750 today?

Let me guess, installing the spring was the biggest cause of the swear jar filling. Don't ask me how I know :p

    NC700X replacement battery... AGM?

I've been using Chrome and Scorpion replacement batteries in my bikes for years. In more than a few instances, they outlived the Yuasa OEM batteries. I can usually agree that you get what you pay for but I'm not sure about that when it comes to power sport batteries.

My First 3D Printed Motorcycle Part

Looks great Halfspin and I love Onshape. It works much like Solidworks so it was a good choice for me at home. 670cc, once you have a 3d printer you'd be amazed at the uses you will find for it. Be warned though, like motorcycles, they tend to multiply out of control :D

    Porous wheel

The same here on my 2013. The rear has been doing that since new but front is fine. It seems to lose less if its ridden regularly for some reason. I've just been pumping it up before I ride it/living with it.

    Rear tire losing air

Well strangely enough, it appears to have stopped losing air. I aired it up to 60 lbs. Let it sit for a few days and it was losing air but more slowly. Brought the pressure down to 42 lbs. and took it for a ride up and down the local expressway. It's been holding at 42 for a week...

    Rear tire losing air

Yeah, unfortunately most of that kind of cure in a bottle is very ineffective for bead leaks. Once I get the center stand mounted, I'll pull the wheel and bring it to the dealer. I usually don't monkey around with tire mounting and dismounting anymore. I let the guys with a decent tire machine...

    Rear tire losing air

It looks like my bike also has the weepy rear wheel bead. My NC has been neglected a bit this summer due to other commitments and also owning multiple bikes..........went to wheel her out of the garage last weekend and the rear tire was flat as a pancake...........zero air on my gauge. Pumped it...

    Ninja 300 impulse buy

I've got a 300 Ninja and I have to say, its one of the most fun motorcycles I've ever owned. Very light and quick! Can be reved to the moon once you break it in. Riding position is pretty confortable compared to harder edged sport bikes.........seat is NOT confortable for any length of time but...

    "The sound of Quiet Desperation"???

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments to my original post. I'm glad to see great minds thinking alike. I did not mention in my OP that I suffer from a serious case of Multiple Bike Disorder which is seriously enabled by my lovely (2nd) bride. I've actually been changing up the fleet over...

    "The sound of Quiet Desperation"???

Wow........reading Cycle World usually inspires me but that quote from Mark Hoyer really raised more than a few hairs on the back of my neck. The short article was about the FZ09 which is certainly a brilliant motorcycle for the money by anyone's standards but the quote in the title is his...

    Poor sales

My dealer said they are selling well here in RI. I really like mine. Seems to be the perfect balance of low end torque and rider comfort. Harleys do seem to rule around here also. It at least seems like 9 out of every 10 bikes you see on the road is a Harley big twin/bagger.

Why and how do you stick to owning the NCX?

What bigjeff said....I've got 6 other bikes and the NC is my new favorite. The engine is very street friendly. There must be something to this bike because my local dealer can't seem to keep them in stock.

PLASTI-DIP !!! Show us what you GOT !!!

Old I've used Bondo to repair many a boy racers (Meaning young kids who have no money and can't ride very well) fairings. Bondo should work well for repairing your deep scratches. Since you have to sand the Bondo anyway, I'd lightly sand the whole panel to assure good adhesion. Since you're...
