I use the allen key and push the rubber through....gently though :)

I just got the Honda touring screen and tried it out yesterday. Seems the turbulence created starts an annoying helmet vibration. Would it help if I moved it to the higher setting? Went back to the stock screen for my daily ride.

Agree that the Z8 are crap....also slipped and slide from non aggressive takeoff and in the wet they had no grip (tires where warm) I also had the chance to drive an NC with the Battleaxe tires and the grip and road feel where much better...instilled a lot more confidence while riding I will...

Living in South Africa temperatures in winter can vary from low below 0 (degrees C) to low 30 (degrees C). Summer temperatures are much higher. Currently I ca start my day at -2 degrees C and within 3 hours be in a place where it is 32 degrees C. Would this have tempted them to use this oil...

Honda put in a Fully Synthetic 10w50 4T Racing oil at my 1000 km service.

I have bought the No-Noise ear plugs and it is worth it. Compared to the Hearos I used these allow me to hear what is going on around me but it still blocks the wind noise. So now I can even have a conversation without lip reading with the ear plugs in :p NoNoise Motorsport Hearing Protectors

I also waited for them and must say it is worth it!

My non-scientific findings :p : 1. Checked the oil when I got home (post ride). Let the bike cool down for 30 minutes and it showed over full. 2. Checked the oil first thing this morning (cold engine) and it looked fine. 3. Warmed up the engine (as per manual), shut it down and let it stand for...

As I check it in the mornings I used the manual (page 71) as a guide: "If the engine is cold, idle the engine for 3 to 5 minutes" Was I wrong? I will check the oil tonight 30 minutes post getting home. Try and get some baseline going.

I don't have a center stand but check the oil while sitting on the bike (upright two feet on the ground). do regular checks and noticed the last week that the level was dropping. I check the oil in the morning before I ride and let the bike idle for 5 min before the time. Bought oil on...
