Got the hitch tacked together today,next weekend I have 3 whole days in the shop to finish up the trailer.I hope by Monday afternoon I will be towing it down the road.

Spent about 7 hours in the garage today.Got the the hitch done and painted.

Also got the the swing arm done and primered ,tomorrow it will get paint.

Tomorrow I will cleanup all the welds and get the trailer primered and painted.

All I really need is spacers for the wheel,then it's ready for the road.

Everything is done and painted !!!.
2 coats of primer,2 coats of silver hammered paint ( on the frame and swingarm ) and 2 coats of clear.
Now all I need to do is make axle spacers ,reassemble and wire in the lights.

I found the material to make my axle spacers so maybe the trailer will be all together by Sunday afternoon.

The ID of 7/8" handle bars is almost the same as the OD of my axle !!!.
And if I use some chrome bars it will add a little " bling " hehe

Well I got the trailer out on the road for a short ride.It pulled good ( I just got up to 40mph) and I really couldn't tell it was back there.I did however discover some issues.
1..the shock works ok when empty BUT it bottoms out when I load the trailer.
2.. I'm not grooving on the hitch on the trailer.I think I will cut it off and run a square tube under the trailer to the front.
3..Being a truck driver I like to see my trailer so I will add a ATV flag to it.
I thought the shock might be to weak so I designed the trailer to be able to run twin shocks with minor mods.
