The service book includes the warranty conditions and it states, that all maintenance work should be performed by an official Honda dealer. Otherwise the warranty is void.
It is interesting, though, that both the owners handbook and the FSM service tables are in contradiction with this. They both clearly say that if the owner is qualified and has the correct tools most work can be performed by him/her - see the small print in the attachments.
An comments? It's just so stupid to take the bike for the 600 mile oil and filter change + nut/bolt check up to a dealer and pay real money for that .
