Attention all ‘Busa boys, Gixxer sisters, Suzuki machines et alia: You might be eligible for a new servicing perk that could extend your bike’s warranty “up to a maximum vehicle age of seven years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.”
Suzuki’s calling it the Service Activated Warranty, and even second-hand bikes can register; should a used machine sign on, the rider will receive a new one-year warranty for their bike, “activated if it is serviced at an authorized Suzuki dealer and goes through a Suzuki Motorcycle Health Check in the first instance” (via VisorDown).

As long as the check is successful, the warranty will activate 30 days from the date of the service and extend until the required amount of years or kilometers.
Yes, your bike could still pass the list of requirements if it has an expired warranty or service history gaps – a rarity that shows just how hard Suzuki’s gunning to care for their riders.
