Strictly speaking, this works only in places where they wear no helmets. Otherwise, it is the helmets which clank together first.

So if I'm viewing this correctly, the ideal seat configuration would be passenger/pillion seat sloped forward and rider seat flat.
OMG, the seats for our bike were built off of a reversed blueprint!!!
