I don’t know what exact thread you refer to, but it should be noted that the forum software and server has changed a time or two over the forums roughly ten year life. I notice that some of the earlier threads can no longer be found during a search. Someone may have memory of and mention a previous thread, but I sometimes can’t locate it in searches.You’re very welcome. Listen I replaced my seat with seat concepts, I just finished a 11 hour 600 mile ride, it was awesome. My tailbone is not sore like it felt with the stock seat, thank you seat concepts, well worth the wait.In another post I mentioned I was asking Seat Concepts to raise the seat material by 1". I reached out to them via email and received a response stating they cannot adjust seats and are limited by the molds they have available. Just letting everyone know in case this was an option they were considering as well.

Thought I'd go with Laam but he does not answer emails even though when you go to their website it states "email seems to be the fastest way to contact us". I've sent to 2 emails with no response and it has been many weeks. Makes me a bit nervous plunking down my money. I go between Corbin and Seat Concepts. SC by far the most cost effective but your experience make me hesitate. Corbin is quite expensive but look great and I like the idea of getting complete seat so I can keep my OEM. I don't ever ride with a passenger so maybe I just do the front seat and save a few dollars. But that seems like it would look weird. So, wondering what you decided to do at this point? I went with the SC front seat only, I ordered and had an upholstery shop install, and I have no complaints. The ride is so much more comfortable. I have a production date coming up with Laam. I had some minor issues getting my production date. Another member here mentioned to just call him. I called him and he told me to submit a form with just some generic info. I did and had to call him a couple days later and question him why he didn’t get back with a production date and resent and had my date later that night. I feel as if he is in over his head administratively and not the most tech savvy but makes a damn good seat. I want both seats done, and I’m willing to go without while I get my comfort issue sorted and feel laam will offer that personal touch and not just cookie cutter standard fare. From a money standpoint Corbin is a too much and SC is too little for me from what I’ve researched. Long story short. I didn’t make your choice any easier. I’ll be posting about my experience when I get my seat. Another word of note, the fitment and what you want on the form is irrelevant. The day of your production it seems he strips your seat and preps it somewhat and will call you day of. Based off of your conversation with him he finishes the job. You don’t owe anything until he finishes and receives payment to ship it back to you. You are responsible for getting the seat there. I always called him towards the end of his day (4 - 5 p.m.) and he always answered my calls. He does have a 'laid-back' attitude towards business. I only got the front seat done in vinyl (per Seth's recommendation) and It was ~$500 with shipping both ways. How does it look with the Laam front seat and OEM rear seat. Wouldn't mind saving the money since I do not ride with a passenger. Had my Seat Concepts driver seat for a few years now. Zero need for another seat. I love it. I spent a little over 100 miles Friday night on it and another 400 miles Saturday on it.I went with the SC front seat only, I ordered and had an upholstery shop install, and I have no complaints. The ride is so much more comfortable. Well worth the wait and money
I have the Seat Concepts (SC) on a '20 NC750X.
I initially suffered from the forward slope issue with the OEM seat.
I was constantly pushing myself back away from the frunk every few minutes.
I couldn't ride more than 30 minutes without grimacing in discomfort over the pressure on the front of my pelvis and junk LOL.
The SC helped somewhat; it raised the front of the seat by about 0.5".
However, that didn't solve the slope problem entirely.
The SC is thicker and has more padding than the stock seat, so that felt good.
The solution for me was the mod of raising the front of the seat by about 1.5".
That mod has been talked about a lot and if you look at my post #21 in this thread, I go into full detail of how to go about getting the slope mod done via 3D printer.
Now, the combo of SC and slope mod makes the seat unnoticeable over a 2 hour ride without my having to dismount, or stand up on the pegs, or slide backward on the seat, or try to adjust my underwear and junk while riding.
So, don't expect the SC to accomplish anything miraculous; it won't do much except make the stock seat a bit more comfortable.
But try the slope mod in addition, and I think you'll be pleased.
I forgot to mention I also have the Knight Industries lowered foot pegs ( about 30 mm lower than stock).
They bring my feet more forward, lessening the knee bend, which in turn may very well help the seat slope issue.
I did rotate my handlebars slightly towards me, but didn't need risers.
The handlebar reach and height are now perfect, and I'm actually more comfortable on my NC750 than I was on my Goldwing

Sorry for missing this post. I still have the SC and am considering the Corbin. The SC has broken in and become acceptable (but not great) and is better than stock despite my initial impressions. I'd expect that the Seat Concept's seat mold is a moderately expensive investment, enough that it's likely that a custom-shaped mold for a one-off seat would make that seat too expensive. But the folks at Seat Concepts will try to help out when they can ... and that help can be really valuable if a customer feels handy enough to do their own custom shaping of the seat pad.In another post I mentioned I was asking Seat Concepts to raise the seat material by 1".
