NC700 bar end mirrors

One of the mirrors on my NC700 got broken and so I just decided to use some bar end mirrors I had from another bike. However, I am not able to figure out how to get the stock threaded plugs out from the handlebar ends. Stock it has rubber/plastic bar ends that are attached with an allen screw to the internal plug that I need remove. Any ideas?
