Don't despair mski, the answer is right there in front of you.

The trouble is there are so many threads on this issue that not everyone gets to see all the info on this problem.

I have found (so far) that it is the HISS indicator light being off that gives the trip resets, if the HISS indicator light is on whe the ignition is switched off you should get no resets.

You've probably turned it off without knowing.

Simply turn on your ignition, press and hold A, the HISS indicator light will be back on, now turn off the ignition again.

Done.

You shouldn't get anymore resets.
