Thanks for sharing the Shinko 005 finding. Pricing at my go-to tire source (AmericanMotorcycleTire) shows $156.17/set for the 005s vs $143.69/set for the Motions. Hardly a difference to worry about. They sound worthy of a try-out.

I had no problem with the ContiMotion tires. I do mostly 65-70 mph slab commuting and this was the scene yesterday at 8,500 miles

I'm getting about 4000 miles out of the stock Dunlop Trailmax rear. BUT took advantage of the Bridgestone rebate on a set of 023.....$129 delivered the set. I'll try them and with 4 bikes I'll put on about 4-5000 per year. I did hear about these Contis and decided against them.
