Hello people,
I hit a nasty pothole recently and I need to replace the front and rear rims on my 2014 NC DCT. I was going to an insurance claim, but I am fearing they just might total out the bike due to age vs the cost to replace the rims. I been looking up and I see new and used rims online...
I just got the newer Pirelli Angel GTs on my bike. They are using a newer compound and say they are to last longer. I only have about 100 miles on them so cannot pass judgement yet.
Just got the Pirelli Angle GT tires for the bike. I had the OEM Dunlops on before. What a difference! I can feel more bite in the ride and more confidence in turns. I have not rode in the rain, but I have heard good things. I only have a 100 or so mile on them, but they are really nice tires.
The main ignition key on my bike is sometimes difficult to turn. Sometimes I really have to wiggle the key to get it to turn. Any recommendations on to resolve this?
Painted white a few letters on the motorcycle tires. Totally goofed it the first time. Re-did it and is looking better...still needs a little clean up of the edges, but getting better.
SO I found a place in MA that did it for me. $50 a wheel ride in. Dismount and remount. Super nice shop too. Looked like a hole in the wall place, but they were pretty good.
Two tire change cost at a shop...ride the bike in. I know removing the wheels are cheaper....but I am not that skilled. I need to know cost for this as I will need this soon and a shop to take it to. I just called RJs in Nashua, NH and was quoted $75 a wheel. Fire away people! I live in NH...
Hello all, I am leaving on a medium road trip this June, but need to change the stock Dunlops before I leave. I read 100% on road, try to avoid the rain, but will ride in it if have to. I am looking for a long life tire that has good tread wear. I do not ride sporty at all and 99.999% stay in...
I do not like the wheel pattern. I know it is a minor thing, but the wheel design is just not doing it for me. The "Flower" pattern, as I call it, is just not doing it for me. My old bike had this 5 or 6 spoke pattern that looked nice. Maybe someone in the aftermarket will come up with a...
I live in Manchester, NH, which is about one hour north of Boston. I have the new bolts on order, will be here sometime this week or next. I leave on vacation on the 27th, and will return on Aug 3rd.
So I ordered the new bolts as directed from the other discussion post. I will hold on the install of this till I get them in. The site is in MA, so I expect the bolts here in a few days.
I was reading that thread....what is up with the current bolts? Are they too short? Ho much of a major concern in this? What is the problem if I use the factory bolts. Looking for insight here...
Hello fellow forum members. I just bought a set of Givi crashbars for my bike, but I need help installing them. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but when I finally got the directions opened, I see that there are several bolt that hold the engine where the crashbars install to. I have a...
Quick and easy way to check your speedometer on your bike without having to hook up a GPS. Find a newer Honda Civic on the highway, preferably at dusk. Pull up besides the car and you can easly see the large digital dashboard in the car. Pace the car and see his speed and match it to your...
