Occasionally when starting my NC700s the light for the display fails to stay on. ie as the starter churns it draws power and the display blanks momentarily and thus if it catches it at right moment as it fires the display blanks out ie the light for the display fails to stay on. Possibly...

Has anyone fitted a gear indicator? If Yes what make and was it easy to fit? Thanks in advance Phil

I've now decided I don't like the plastic cable tie, what if after a few years it goes brittle and snaps?? I've brought off eBay a 3 metre "make your own length jubilee clip" Now fitted that and am much happier :-)

Surprised you liked the FZ6 , I used to own one and found the seat too hard for long journeys also the engine although really sweet it was all high revs, if in the wrong gear and you wanted to accelerate past cars it felt like it was going backwards!!! You need to be above 8000 for real progress.

……………………………the great storage space where the tank is, I've a topbox too and without the topbox the bike still looks pretty good (ie there isn't a ugly topbox platform) ………………………………the amazing torque it pulls from 2000 revs without fuss!!! What else would you guys like to add to this list??

CB125RS, CB500, FZ6 (lovely engine but power all top end) CBF500 Those are mine!

On my previous bike a CBF500 I was lucky enough to get a centrestand off eBay for £50 new one too (new was £100) Now I've the NC700S I'm looking a centrestands again £147 from Honda or £138 off eBay Now do I REALLY need one? What are the advantages? Easier to clean wheels, easier to fill...

Now the snow has finally gone I've fitted it, thou there's a clearance moulded in the hugger to clear the brake line mounting plastic I didn't like it, so I grinded a bit off the hugger to give more clearance before fitting. As someone else also said on here it certainly looks part of the bike.

I've brought a pyramid hugger for two reasons it's cheaper than the skidmark one an it retains the chain cover. It arrived today but horror! I see it's simply attached by just a single cable tie!!!!!! Did anyone else buy this one and what did you think?
