Which would you choose Puig Touring or Honda Tall Windscreen

Well i received my Honda Touring screen today and think i would prefer something with a bit more coverage like the Puig so i went ahead and ordered a Puig in light smoke. I seen the Puig on Pismocycleguy's bike and am pretty sure it will provide a bit more wind protection than the Honda.

If anyone is interested in a good deal on a brand new Honda Touring screen contact me before it goes to ebay sometime this weekend.

Too bad about the Honda Touring screen. But you'll like the Puig much better. Plus it looks better.

The honda touring screen is very nice but I really like the looks and style of Puig screen on your bike. This thread provided some links to a few places that had them in stock.......gotta love this forum for all the great info.

The seat is heaven sent and sooooo much better than the stock one. I am so glad you sold it to me

I mounted most of my honda luggage tonight and was pretty straight forward. Just need to assemble the tumblers for the side cases now. It will be so nice to have some storage room and be able to secure my riding gear while I am at work.

As soon as work slows down a bit ill hit you for a ride san Simeon to get some grub

I just got my Puig in today. Can't install it today or tomorrow but I'm very curious the difference between the Honda Touring screen. I'll know in a few days.

And the clear ones have been out of stock everywhere in the US also. The US importer told me they are getting a shipment in to distributers any day now. Mine is on backorder from surfsidemoto.com and will ship as soon as they get one. $119.95 if I remember correctly.

That's where I got mine from. I had to wait for them to get some from the manufacturer in Spain, but it was worth it. I love the Puig! Great form and function!

My clear one will also be here tomorrow!
By the weekend we should have plenty of reports from happy (or unhappy) customers, but mine won't be one because I'm out of town wednesday morning.

I plan on installing mine tomorrow afternoon then ride it to work on Wednesday. If i dont like it i can always install the Honda Tall windscreen and sell the Puig.......lol. Although i am pretty sure ill be happy with the Puig.

My two cents...
I have never tried the Honda tall, but I sure didn't like the standard version. I am 5'11" and I have the Puig light smoke on the high setting for the install (I turned the grommets on the cycle the other direction). The wind break is perfect for me. I recently rode around 1000 miles and issues with the front on wind.

I purchase mine about 2-3 months ago from Revzilla.

Rob, I swapped mine Honda Tall out with the Puig last night. I rode my standard 30 miles to work this morning and I notice two main differences. At slow speeds I really could not tell a difference. The wind was hitting my face shield towards the top of the helmet instead of the center so no big deal there. At 70mph it seems the wind stream had pushed its way toward the top of the helmet. I still had wind noise but it was not the same turbulent sound as before. It was more of a constant whooshing noise and not choppy. The biggest difference I noticed was when traveling around and behind semi trucks. I work in the heavily trafficked area of Little Rock, AR. I have to deal with lots of semi's. When I follow them or pass them the wind turbulents normally make the front wheel/handlebars toss back and forth slightly. After installing the Puig and riding in this morning the movement of the front wheel and handlebars was much less. So much less that just that alone has sold me on the windshield.

I have the Cee Baileys on now, after trying the Tall Honda, and the CalSci. I can't tell the difference noise wise in any of them. I have significant hearing loss, so have a new ($$$$) Neotec helmet, and always wear earplugs, but the noise still aggravates my tinnitus. I am beginning to think the noise is coming from down lower on the bike, or even from the rear. Can't seem to locate it. This bike does have the most wind noise of any bike I have owned. But it's a keeper just the same.

Really like my Puig windscreen. So far i have put 360 miles on it and works great, definitely much better than the short stock windscreen.
