What's a good feeler guage to use on the NC700

I have several feeler gauge sets, but none of them have all the ranges that are possible when adjusting the tappets. Especially if You wish to adjust the tappets in the middle of the range. Thanks.
 
I have the Great Neck mentioned in post #2. Looks nice but I haven't used it yet. I used a straight feeler set on the first valve check The angled gauge should be a lot easier.
 
Sorry if this is a silly question: the Great Neck (like all of the gauges I could find locally) has sizes for .178mm and .279mm.

The spec calls for .17mm and .28mm. Is close enough good enough in this case?

(Am I splitting hairs?)
 
I believe the manual told me that the range was .17 +/- .02. It just so happened my feeler guage had a range from .15-.19 mm so I used that one, same for the exhaust. Also what OCR side about an angled one. What I did was take gauges needed out of the ringed set and use them individually.
