What revs do you cruise around on

nice. so how many revs? I probably sit just above the lugging feel

I don't watch the tach very often so had to pay attention to what it is when I shift. I think this is approximate:

1-2 3k
2-3 3.2
3-4 3.4
4-5 3.6
5-6 4.2

I have been up shifting around 4000 RPM and usually running in the 3500 range. My last bike had a redline at about 12000 rpm, so I hope I'm doing it right!

The daring sometimes even run the machine in odd ranges between 3233 and 3377 rpm, I've heard. But I've been afraid to try THAT...

Well done. I thought I might be the only one lugging around but getting pretty decent mileage.

I find it interesting to know our traits on this bike considering that these machines are usually ridden in a high rev capacity yet we give them a respect that they are designed for.

I still love riding this.
