Taking the plunge--deposit down on a 2016 750x DCT

That's odd the 2016 service manual is found used on eBay before the bikes are in showrooms.

Here's something interesting: There are two option connectors for sub harnesses. One of them is a 3P socket and has a line to the console for heated grips... The other is the 6P connector and has a line for the high beams... (Blue wire...)

Yes, Oil filter, 600 miles, 16,000 miles.
(DCT filter too...)

Valves also 16,000 miles.

Oil 600, 8000 miles.

Yeah, already I'm liking the 2016! Confirmed also the 3P option B connector near the front. (The one with heated grips feedback to the console.)

What else, hmm, tupperware removal. Plastics under plastics, trip clips, sliding tabs and bolts etc... the usual.

I got the Bridgestone Battlewings on my bike. Seem to be the only one in Canada. Everyone else seems to have got the Dunlops

I don't know about the 2016 NC750 manual. When I was shopping around and asked the dealer for the 2013 NC700S manual I was quoted over $200. I wonder if anyone has 2016 NC700X manual and can check if the 750 is covered in it.

Don't quote me on this, but the Shop Manuals *should* encompass all the models, with appropriate asterisks and inclusion of sub model variances, if the previous issues can be used as examples. The S, SA, SDCT, XA models are included in the X, and XDCT Shop Manuals.

You could email Helm directly and specifically ask if the 750 is included, though-that would be a prudent course of action.

The 2012-2013 manuals list at Helm for $64.95 US + S/H (something like 20 or 30 bucks? Can't remember from when I got mine, sorry)

The 2012-2015 list for $89.95 Those pesky 2014-2015 models tipped the apple cart for some reason, as the new 2016 Manual lists for $63.95 US
