Hi everyone, got my Honda nc750x 2024 last month,I have 1,700km on it so far,I've noticed these scuff marks on the bike, don't think it should wear like that,is it covered under warranty.thanksPXL_20240309_113641817.MP.jpgPXL_20240309_081058877.jpg

Looks like scuff marks from boots/pants. As different parts are showing wear, it is very unlikely there was a manufacturing defect affecting them all in the same way. Cosmetic damage is not covered by Honda warranty. Once a motorcycle (or any vehicle) leaves the dealer, unless you could prove a paint or material defect, you’re on your own for any cosmetic issues.

Scuffs from boots or leathers. Noticed this on my new 24 plate after my second ride( not as bad as yours though). I had some clear 3M sticky plastic and cut some to size to fit this area. Provides protection from the scuffing. The plastic panel ahead of this area also had a little scuffing so I stuck some dots on it.

While I tend to agree with Greg, I note that you're in Ireland. The majority of this board's membership is in the USA. What is covered and for how long may well be different between the two places.

It couldn't hurt to call your dealer and ask, could it?
