I struggled with the usb port on my ‘23 750X. I couldn’t stomach the £66 for it so bought a 4 pin connector from AliExpress & a usb port. There’s no need for the earlier sub-harness. The three wires are ground, 12v & 5v and is switched live from the ignition. I didn’t remove all the plastics, just removed all the fixings, moved the indicator relay and fudged the connector off. Didn’t take too long.
