Hi everybody

traded in my 2012 transalp for the nc700x , jusat for the fuel economy as i do 120km everyday from home to work and back. Hope i made the right choice.

I do a 75 mile rond trip everyday and I find the NC is just fine for this. I'm sure that you do it on better weather than me. My previous commuter bikes were Deauville (2X650 1X700) so simular engines to your transalp. NC really is much better on fuel

Welcome to the Forum and congrats with your new bike! We bought in January, and have already done 5600km, the hilly area of Durban. You should do very well in the flatter area of Bloem. We average around 3.3l/100km. Check Fuelly.com for NiCX.
