It would be almost impossible to do this safely on a bike. You could do it if you had a camper and trailered there. Imagine trying to do 6 feet in MOs buffet line, or in the dining pavilion. I guess if 3 or 4 people were there, it would be OK, but not with the usual crowd. If there aren’t enough people there, Mo won’t cook anyway. If you could cook your own food, or drive to get carry out and eat in your RV. You could do ride planning meetings via Zoom, and get ride through or carry out when on the ride. It could be done. But most of the fun is the socializing before, during, and after the ride. It always rains sometime during the event. If you were on a bike and didn’t want to risk the buffet line, you would have to ride into town, and either eat on the curb in the rain or bring the food back to camp to eat in your tent. Attendees would be under tremendous social pressure to ignore what we know we should do, and revert to doing what we have always done.
I can’t go because I’m required to quarantine 14 days after coming back, and I have a scheduled court appearance within those 14 days. The Judge would keel haul me if she found out I went out of state and exposed her and everyone else.
