Blue led on instrument...

Thanks Lee for all you've done!
I never considered the option of the blue gel... I'll give it a try! ;)

I made the blue mod on my old CBR600 RR changing, with the help of a friend of mine, the original leds with the blue one so I think I can swap the led on the NC too but the problem is how to find the right blu leds spec./code that fits the original.
If somone can help me, I'll order the leds and I'll try the job! ;)

Tamiya produce a clear blue acrylic paint number X-23, which should be available from good model stores.

Tamiya Color - Acrylic Paint

It's darker than shown on the website and is more like the clear blue of Police lightbars.

I don't know how it would respond to heat, do the LED's get hot?

The Tamiya Paint should work then, obviously the more coats of paint applied the darker the blue which would reduce the amount of light being emitted.

I seem to recall that the brightness can be adjusted so it may need cranking up to its brightest setting when the paint is applied.
