For a week or so the Forum has been in text mode with many of the images not being displayed. I've tried other sites and forums and it's not a problem with them. It makes it awkward to use and even changing to a new page is a very slow load. Hope it can be speeded up soon.

Well I was thinking it might have been hurricane Mathew related due to the timing of the post... but if it was going on before Matthew, then that's not it.

I think my problem was Adobe Flashplayer. When I updated it everything went back to normal. At least I think the two are related.
