I developed a fork seal leak over the weekend on my 2012 NC700X at 6700 miles.
Tried using a fork seal cleaning tool to no avail. Taking the bike in tomorrow to get both fork seals replaced.
Are there any boots or protective socks for the NC700X that I can install to prevent this from...
I did 250+ miles on the NC700X today and towards the end of the day, I started noticing a noise that I hadn't heard before coming from the bike.
Every time I would accelerate, roll the throttle, I would hear a squeaking noise that seemed to continue as long as I held the throttle.
If I...
If I was going to pick one seat manufacturer to make me a seat that is 2-3 inches taller than stock (and hopefully more comfortable as well) which one would you recommend?
I have an Africa Twin and KLR and both of these bikes fit my size (6'+, 260lbs) well. This seems to be in large part to having a taller seat height, lower foot pegs and longer, flatter seats.
When i sit on my daughter's DCT NC700X, I love the powerplant, but I just don't fit on the bike well...
I see the stock tires on a NC700X are 160/60R-17.
The TKC80 doesn't come in that size, but does come in 150/70B-17 or 170/60B-17.
I'm wondering for the NC700X that will be doing 50/50 rides, which would be better and why?
I'm looking to take my NC700X off pavement and onto some gravel and dirt roads. A couple of times a year, I might get it into some sand as well.
Not going over anything crazy. It will mostly be places you could take a 2WD truck.
Looking for suggestions on what to add to the NC700X to...
I know its a street bike in adventure clothing, but I'm wondering just how far off pavement this thing will go.
If you don't mind, please post your off pavement/off road experiences with the NC700X.
Also, were there certain mods you did to the bike before taking it off pavement to be...
I'm looking to buy one and have them available from 2012-2017 models in my area, starting from $4,000 to $8,299.
Is there a better year to buy? Were there worthwhile upgrades along the way?
DCT model if that makes a diff. Thanks!
Hi, I'm brand new to the forum. I've been kicking around getting a motorcycle for the first time, but really don't have a good idea where to start with them.
After doing a short bit of research, I really like the specs of the NC700x DCT ABS. To be fair, the main reason I like it is that it...
