    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

I'm very frustrated. Last week "my" NC750X DCT had a ship date of 7/29* (note the asterisk) so I expected delivery this week. I was just informed by the dealer that the new ship date is 8/26*! I have been trying to locate one at a dealer within a couple hundred miles of me (Lincoln, NE)...

    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

I am a soon-to-be reformed ex-NC owner too. I was active on this forum during the period I owned my 2012 DCT (2014-2015). I traded it for a new 2016 CB500X, then a Triumph Street Twin, then a Triumph Tiger 800, now a Yamaha MT-07. I'm looking forward to owning a lower, lighter DCT bike again!

    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

Seeing that the 2021s were arriving at US dealers, I rode out to my local powerhouse to see if I could get an in-person look at one. I put a deposit on a 2021 DCT in February, but there was one guy in front of me who got first dibs. No luck, he had already collected the bike a day or two ago...

    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

https://powersports.honda.com/powerhouse-dealers Also, see my post #38 in this thread with a direct quote from the owner of my local Powerhouse dealership. I don’t intend to discredit your experience, @dduelin, I’m sorry if that seemed argumentative.

    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

It also makes a big difference if a dealership is a Honda Powerhouse dealer. I think there are only around 40 in the USA, and Powerhouses only sell Honda products. They get new releases first, and those bikes are automatically reordered when sold.

    2021 Honda NC750X [Model Overview]

As the saying goes - "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I really like the new look and don't mind the reduced amount of red parts.

    2021 NC750x purchased yet?

My local dealer is a Honda Powerhouse dealer. Here's what the owner told me in an email: "We show our first 2021 manual clutch version scheduled to ship 4/01. But our current order statement shows the first DCT version scheduled for 5/28. That first NC750XD DCT does have a deposit in the...

Information 2021 NC750X announced for US market!

I put a deposit on a 2021 with DCT. Dealer expects delivery in mid-June. DCTs are arriving later than the manual model. I owned a 2012 NC700X DCT for a couple years, traded it for a CB500X a few years ago. Looking forward to the updated version and less strain on my left hand!

    Windscreen's Let's see em

The top of the screen is right in my line of sight - I have to sit up very straight and tall to see over it. I think I'll try some bar risers so I sit more upright before I cut it off again, though. I think a more upright sitting position will help - also might alleviate the discomfort in my...

    Windscreen's Let's see em

Cal-Sci Touring - Medium. I cut about 2" off the top. Works great, no buffeting and leave my face shield open at any speed. I do need to trim another inch or two off though.

    Tires that fit the NC700

I just got back from a week's ride in the Rocky Mts of Colorado - these tires performed flawlessly on pavement, gravel, hard pack dirt, rocky road - every road surface I encountered. I did drop the bike once trying to get through a snow drift on one back road - but can't blame the tires for...

Slippery stock pegs...What did you replace them with?

...and another satisfied SW-Motech owner. Not only are they comfortable, but I have mine set up at the lower setting. Makes just enough difference in legroom to make the riding position much better.

TCI Skid Plate for Gravel Riding?

I emailed them about a month ago, and they replied that they didn't have a definite ship date yet, but it is slated for this quarter. Might be June before they ship. I'm heading to Colorado for some gravel/fire road riding on June 1, so will probably have to go with the TCI skidplate too...

    Daytona seat from Webike

Yes, I have put several hundred miles on the bike since installing the Daytona. I really can't compare it to the stock seat because I bought the bike in early December (not exactly prime riding season in Nebraska) and didn't have much chance to ride it before switching to the Daytona. I can...

Pictures of Various Honda NC700X Saddlebags

Another bike with Givi E22s. Just finally got them mounted. Might eventually trade up to some Trekkers. I got the Honda logo decals on ebay for about $10.

    Tires that fit the NC700

I went with the 150/70R-17 for the rear. The set cost $156 shipped and was delivered a week ago. Haven't mounted them yet. Update - got them mounted. Here's what the Shinko 705 front looks like on the bike:

    Holy Shift

I think the future of shifting is the Dual Clutch Transmission. Or maybe the DCT is the Present of shifting? Talk about making almost everything easier!

    Tires that fit the NC700

Shinko is apparently making a 705 in our front size. I just ordered a front/rear set here: Shinko 705 Motorcycle Tire - BikeBandit.com
