And it was showing the Red reserve block with the ignition on, as if it's maybe not opaque when you are riding. So I guess it might always look red, but then flash when reserve is reached by alternating a black lcd bar over it, opposite from what we have now.

If so, that's another thing I like about the new version, dad gum it!!!

I hate when Honda seems to listen to what customers want, or complain about, lol!

I like the new Integra 750 with this color scheme.
There is however no need to upgrade my NC700X. Still happy :)

Wow, the Integra 750 got a new and very pretty swingarm
I wish the NC7xx had such a swingarm. But no, still same old stuff.

Since this upgrade is well know, What is the New Selling Price?

Honda have released some specs for the new NC750:- The new 750 has an extra 75cc and is now rated at 54BHP. Torque is increased from around 44lbs to just over 50lbs.

The X and S have a new silencer and a span adjustable brake lever. While the X gets an off road pattern tyre. Fuel consumption is improved with the S model rising from 78.2mpg to 81.6mpg.

All of the postings involving the 2014 NC750 are very interesting, but I'm not a believer until I can visit the Honda North America Site and see and read the specs for the "2014 NC750X" for myself. Talk is easy, facts take a little longer! And if the selling price is also inflated along with the spec sheet, maybe it won't be such a good deal? I'm happy with what I have after adding the necessary farkles!

2014 NC700X Specifications - Honda Powersports

We'll it definitely looks like the USA isn't getting the new model until at least 2015...I wonder why not?

If then. Who knows? You wouldn't think they would build two very similar machines. Not very cost effective. I guess it is like ford and mazda trucks. Run down the same line but get different body parts. At least that is what I was always told about the Ford Ranger and the Mazda B Series.

US probably bought just the right amount of NC's in a year to clear out all their old inventory.

Or perhaps it's because we don't have different licensing for different sized bikes (once they get over 50cc) so they figured the extra horses didn't matter here. (you know how much americans hate bigger more powerful motors)

But we also don't get chipped keys, which could be a variation on the bike they didn't want to make, trying to let the first run of the NC750 be all the same, and then start making variants for each different country?

I am talking about the so called NC750X for North American riders/buyers. I am really not interested in the added color for 2014 NC700X. I want to see and read the Honda of North America spec sheet for the NC750, if there is such an animal.
I am also interested in the MSRP for the 2014 NC700X and the 2014 NC750X. Is there going to be a price increase for the 700X?

Maybe we 700 owners can get this with a software update?

Honda also claims that "The DCT gearbox has received software updates and offers an even more intuitive riding experience."

Anyone would think that Honda have been taking notice of their customers!

More power and torque (Bore ingreased by 4mm, no change to stroke)

The gearing is taller but acceleration and top speed are both improved

All models get ABS

New tyres (more suited to off road than the current ones)

New Exhaust to improve sound

6-Position span adjustable brake lever

Gear position indicator and 'instant' & 'average' fuel consumption.

Improved grip seat cover (no mention of more comfort)

I hope the ABS is still combined although they now call it 2 channel.

I noticed in the pictures that the engine in now finished black, presumably to differentiate it from the 700.

I'm quiet pleased with the updates, especially the 75cc increase over the rumored 50cc. I'm looking forward to having a test ride

In case I once more had to decide about which NC version to get for myself, I would most likely get the new Integra 750(S). A new body fairing and some real nice technical and style upgrades (apart from the new engine; also much more changes than the new NC750X received) make this an attractive road bike, looking much better than its predecessor. That is well done, really.

However, that also is a decision about riding style which would most likely affect myself very much. I liked riding the Integra, but it is a very different riding than with an NC7?0X, representing a funbike much more.
I need to consider getting an additional Integra 750 :)

Ok, I need to quickly forget about this now.

Oh there certainly is such an animal, but it looks like you won't be getting it in the USA for quite sometime - if at all.

I don't think you'll find a spec sheet for a 750 in the US. We don't seem to be getting it. Go back to post #156. That document is taken directly from the Official Honda Powersports site in Spain. I translated it with google translate. Italy has the same info. I would guess if the bike came to North America it would have the same spec sheet but since we are not getting the bike here in the US we won't see one. I scoured the Italian and Spanish site thoroughly and could find no mention of a MSRP. I even went to dealer sites in Italy and they only state that there is a new version for 2014 and you have to request a quote. Maybe a member of the site that lives in Spain can stop by a dealer and check. Since the MSRP for the NC700X is listed as TBD I'm going guess it is going up from 2013.

It looks like it may beat the NC700X in fuel mileage.
Fuel consumption of 28.9km/l (WMTC mode) is particularly impressive and goes a long way toward making the NC750X inexpensive to run day-to-day. It also extracts a 400km plus range from the 14.1-litre underseat fuel tank.

So that is 248.5 miles. If you ride conservitively on the NC700 you can get really close to that now. When I rode with Bamamate I think he got 240 out of a tank. I might be wrong. Hope he reads this and corrects me. I wonder what they mean by plus? Do they hit 400KM before the red flashing light. Now that would definitely make a difference.

I have made it 260 miles out of a tank before.. I think 670cc was around 300 miles on one tank. My NC doesn't have anything to worry about.
