What was your FIRST motorcycle

A brand new 1966 250cc Suzuki T10, got tired of mixing the gas & oil so after about 3 months traded it in on a X-6 Hustler which had automatic oil injection. sold it to my best friend after I got drafted in January '68.

Both are cool, gotta say I like the Hustler better

Found a picture in my yearbook of the motorcycle parking area. Mine is the Green Kawasaki in the middle. :p
Great 1st bike.

1995 kawasaki 500 Vulcan. Had a friend in college that needed money so I got it cheap. It also got me a close parking spot in college, so that was good. Dry rotted tires, speedometer didn’t work and I’d have to give the carbs a light tap now and then when the floats would stick.

I bought a 1989 Yamaha FZR400 when I was stationed at Little Creek.

Don't have a picture handy, but something like this one

Mine was a 73 kawi g5 100 Enduro. Had a separate 2 stroke oil tank so no mixing. Sucked when the carb needle fouled and had to take off right side case to get to it. Nice to learn a clutch several years before I drove a car.Screenshot_20230810_120537_Google.jpg

It was 2006, I was 18, and finally moved out of the house so I could buy my first motorcycle. Parents always said, “Not while living in my house.”

Bought a 2002 Kawasaki EX250 with 4,000 miles from World On Wheels motorcycle dealership in Marietta Georgia. Clocked 20,000 miles in my first year!

Ah, the Kawasaki EX250. While certainly not my first bike, I did own a blue 2007 EX250. It was a lot of fun. It’s significance is that it was my first “second” motorcycle. Multi bike ownership is a slippery slope to get on. Now I own 5.

I had three 250 ninja’s over the years. I haven’t seen one being ridden on the road in years though. 2004, 2008 & 2009. All at different times of my brief 17 years of riding
