I am getting new tires(Dunlop Road smart)for my 2014 NC. However, I'm confused as to what size to order. I only ride on city streets and take a few road trips. Should I get the size recommended on the placard on the bike? Or get the size currently on the bike? Right now I have shinko 705's. I'm thinking get what the manufacturer recommends, but wanted some input first.

The Shinko 705 rear tire is not offerred in the stock 160/60R17 size, so for that reason, the rear tire you have is some other size. I would go back to the stock sizes listed in the owner’s manual or bike sticker. There is generally no good reason not to use the Honda recommended sizes for your stated use.
