If those are the ones from Thailand, then ya, they were talked about here somewhere a ways back now. Sorry, I can't remember the thread or link to it...

looks interesting. not sure about how good they are at deflecting the wind
and it's probably carbon fiber,not kevlar.

if i was a manufacturer of those-i would add some functionality to it,making them a storage, that you can open and close. there already tons of free space inside those side cowls, making them wider without using any of it makes no sense.
or instead-make a wider mold of oem side deflectors
