So here it is. Inspired by the experts and innovators here. Givi mount, $101, aluminum plate $8, angle stock $10, replectors $8, stainless steel hardware, $12.
Also, notice the luggage bars to keep my soft bags off the tires. Copied from someone smarter then me

The only thing I might be careful of, is hitting something painful on the leading edge corners. It's always a funny bone, or shin, or a kneecap, forehead, eye, etc., lol

I would suggest to slightly bevel them a wee bit, if you don't mind me mentioning it for consideration.

I really need to figure out how to attach photos probably on this forum. I thought about that and so I did round the corners a bit. I'm thinking on adding something around the edges.
