NC700XA, model year 2013: During installation of the SpeedoHealer V4 where I removed the side panels did I find two Wellnut C-550 (10) with M6 threaded brass inserts just lying inside the side panels.

I have no clue where they should be installed, and all screws I removed did still have the threaded insert to be re-installed.
I have attached three pictures showing the Wellnut.

Anyone who can add some information about where these are located on a NC700XA?

Just for information: the SpeedoHealer is to adjust the speed shown on the dashboard to correct value, mine is adjusted to minus 6.5% and shows now exactly what my GPS is showing.

those often go on the windscreen ... either OEM or aftermarket. Maybe they got dropped during a windscreen replacement and never fished out?

Deleted comment to think about it some more.

Ahaa, yes, previous owner replaced the windscreen to the OEM higher windscreen, this would make sense, thank you:)

I was trying to think of all the well nuts used on a 2013 NC700X. Besides the stock small windshield mounting, where four well nuts are used, I believe there are two well nuts on the luggage box that are used to mount the side covers or fake ducts. See item 14 in the attached illustration. However, item 14 is listed as having a 5mm thread.

I checked the size again, they are actually M5, and I have two.... could be these two.
The indicated installation here is where I found two plastic pins/plastic rivets installed, but I guess it should have been screws?
I do not see the screws on this page.

The luggage box well nut holds the tail end of the fake duct. There should be a stock black cross point JIS screw installed through the fake duct tail and into the well nut. See photos, taken at the left top edge of the open luggage box (frunk)

Thank you Greg, this is exactly where two plastic pins were installed, so I have some work tomorrow and must find 2 each screws in the shed that will fit in here, or two new will be ordered :)

Item 7 in the illustration, a 5x16 screw, is what is supposed to go there. Same for the other side

The previous owner could have messed it up or modified it. Around here, it is not uncommon for motorcycle dealers doing service work to incorrectly reassemble a motorcycle. That is one of many reasons I stopped going to dealers a long time ago.

Thank you Greg, part number 90109-SB6-000, I have similar screw in black available :)
