What if anything can be done about tiny rust spots on fork tubes. I'd like them to disappear, if possible. They were there when I purchased the 2013 NC.

As dduelin pointed out that is usually because of pitting (from road debris hitting your forks) clean in up and put a set of fork covers on "gators" or fork socks.I have the same issue on my 2013. Recommendations to keep them from coming back?
I’m concerned that they will eventually cause the gas to leak out of lower receivers.

No one has made them disappear. That's what I'd really like. Polish, steel wool still leave a tiny dot on the tube.
Acf50 will prevent corrosion in most circumstances. Works exceptionally well.I have the same issue on my 2013. Recommendations to keep them from coming back?
