Got home from a multi-day ride yesterday. Lots of fun and lots of miles and smiles!
As I pushed the bike into its parking place (about 90 seconds, maybe 2 minutes tops, after pulling in and shutting down), I heard a strange noise from the rear wheel area. It was a kind of moaning squeal (squeal-ish moan?). I’d almost say just a moan, but maybe not quite.
Has anyone had this? What was it? Wheel bearing(s)? Something else?
I’ll see again tomorrow or later this week if it’s still there, and whether it’s only after a ride or what. We’d been rolling _fast_ for quite a while, it was fairly warm (95 - 100), and we were 2-up plus a full load of luggage before we pulled in.
Thanks for your thoughts.
