Innovv C3 mounting

Thanks for the video. That wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was thinking od sticking it to the radiator to avoid vibration but thinking to much bike would be in the video.

I have one of these mounted behind a dark smoke Puig shield, the color is a little off but not any worse than when you wear sunglasses. It doesn't work very good after dark, but I hardly ever ride at night anyway. Here's a photo without the windshield on, the left side plastics were off of the bike when I took the photo also.

Here's my first ever you-tube video, turn the sound down the camera is rather close to the engine.

Due to the way I mounted it it points slightly to the right.
I have the 90 degree lens.

Thanks for the video. I think behind the windscreen is the best location. My screen is way too dark but I think I'll put my clear screen back on.

How are you guys passing the camera cable through into the trunk? I don't want to do anything that looks like a hack job.

I didn't put mine in the frunk, it's mounted to the Battery cover but on the inside above the battery. This may not be the best place to put it but there is space there for it. That's why I get so much engine noise. I had a short carriage bolt that had the right size threads to screw into the holder that came with the camera, I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the battery cover then filed it square for the carriage bolt, put a piece of old inner tube rubber on both sides then the nut to hold it in place then screwed on the camera holder.

For power I used one of these - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BMIVFK8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01 - I hooked it up to the accessory wiring harness using the connectors that I found out about in this thread - http://nc700-forum.com/forum/nc700-mods/3146-corresponding-connectors.html - Then attached it to the outside of the frunk with Velcro.

On the left side of that last photo you can see part of the lens cable looped around & then goes up behind the air-box. The 4 meter long power cable bundled up and tied to accessory socket cable with a cable tie. I also wrapped the USB connection with electrical tape.

I cut a hole in my windscreen as I decided I didn't care for the off color of looking though the dark shield (see post #22 above) also there was some distortion from the windscreen and bug splatters. you can still see the windscreen in the lower corners of the video. I also repositioned the lens so it's pointed more straight ahead instead of slightly to the right. I've had a lot of problems getting this to work right, one of these days I might make a post telling about it.

I've also turned off the sound record on the camera as I think its just kind of annoying.
