Hi all,
I just wanna share a trivial story.
I did not do this intentionally, but somehow, after getting on the bike tonight (yeah night riding), i had a feeling that I forgot to lock the topcase (Honda 35L). However, I just proceeded.
When I reached home, I confirmed that I left the topcase unlocked (but it looked closed all the time).
I had travelled about 30km, 50% on a highway at speed reaching 100kmh-120kmh.
BTW my false tank is now never latched while riding (call me lazy Joe). I only lock it when I park the bike.
So....I can confirm that it is ok to ride with the box unlocked but closed. Or am I just lucky?
I can also confirm, the fit between the box and the rack is not very tight, so rattling is "common" while going on undulating surfaces.
