Hello from San Diego

Greetings!

I'm finalizing details on purchasing an NC700X to replace my daily commuter bike, an '09 Ninja 250 that I've already
put 41K miles on. My commute is 94 miles round trip. Expecting to pick up the NC700X in Oklahoma on September 6th
and ride it back to San Diego -- saving about $1500 after travel expenses by buying out of state. I'll try to plan the
trip home to earn my first Iron Butt certificate.

I also own an '09 KLR650 as the backup commuter bike and for exploring off the pavement.

Hi Steve welcome to the forum. My commute is only a 74 mile round trip but the NC handles it like it was just round the block

Coming from a Ninja 250, for sure you're going to appreciate the commute capabilities of the NC700X!

Welcome flyboy! I would pick up padding for the seat and the larger windscreen but that's just me.
