Would the Heidenau K60 Scout 130/70-17 work as a front tire if I had it mounted in the reverse direction and raised the front fender?

Looking for something a little less aggressive than the TKC80.

I have been wondering that same question. Although I'm not sure why it would need to be mounted in the opposite direction.

In theory a front tire is made to handle braking and a rear acceleration so the forces are in the opposite direction. Some manufacturers with tires that are rated as front or rear, such as the Shinko 705, tell you to reverse the direction when used as a front tire.

I wonder how well the tread design of the K60 would work on the front. A true K60 front looks nothing like the rear.
