Well, I'm not going to argue with you over the RainX - It works well for me so I use it.

My helmet manufacturer (HJC) says Rain-X is fine to use on their shields with some exceptions.

Yep, outside. It has only happened once in 3400 miles so it isn't much of a big deal...until I can't see at 60mph and there is no place to pull over

There is nothing wrong with a good old swipe with the index finger of the glove That's what I do in slow traffic with no wind, or even with the wind at speed as needed.

All my gloves (HELD and other cheapo brands) have that little wiper rubber on the index finger (I think left hand).

Please someone invent the antifog demister visor soon.
