advice about Deal's Gap trip

Just got back from the Deals gap in Oct. At the beginning of each curve is speed limit for the curve, if this is your fist time be aware and don't be distracted or you may visit the tree of shame. Deals gap has good camping and great food. Way to many roads to enjoy in the area. Be safe and have fun.

I satisfied my bug this weekend with the first couple hundred miles of the north end of the Natchez Trace Parkway. While absolutely gorgeous and totally worth the ride, it did nothing to satisfy my craving for some curves. I can't wait til fall when it cools off, so I guess I'll sweat my butt off and go soon.

If a weekend is all you can manage then go early and it will not be crowded.
